I have wanted to use the photographed image in my work most of my career. I tried collages and could not produce what I was looking for. When I was a student at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, one of my teachers advised me as to the many limitations of chemical photography. THEN came Photoshop! Now with Photoshop, there are NO Limitations, my world opened a bit wider! I now use photography / Photoshop a great deal in my paintings…
